... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Sunday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

P.S. Please don't worry if you've submitted a secret and it hasn't been posted yet. I usually post these threads before running out of the previous batch of secrets to get a head start on the next batch.

Out of all the established D&D characters, why did they have to include Minsc in BG3? His whole character just oozes "character a 13 year old thought was really quirky and hilarious" and I really don't understand why he's so popular. His whole lulzrandom schtick kinda hurts the plot a bit imo.

I watched and hated Glee for most of its run, giving it up right before the last season.

Yet I sometimes find myself listening to the latest hits and wondering how they would be handled if the show was still on. Like I know they'd absolutely butcher Chappel Roan (at most giving her songs to Santana but more probably Rachel, not even considering any of the other female singers in the cast, *cough* Tina).

I laugh my ass off trying to imagine how they could ever lyric swap/sensor any of Sabrina Carpenter's latest songs for broadcast.

I've found myself incapable of finishing the last few chapters of several webnovels. I read almost all of them but then just ditch them shortly before the end. I keep telling myself I'll go back to them someday but... eh.
I think it's because at that point, the grand climax is usually over and I find the whole "let's tie up the last few loose ends" for the conclusion tedious more often than not.
But whatever it is, it makes the finished-but-not-quite novels on my list pile up.

I do want a Star Trek "Three Musketeers" type of show. I just want it to be about the Klingons. No Humans Allowed.

I don't mind if good movies don't get a sequel, not every movie needs one. My childhood is replete with "Cult" Movies that everyone loved, but never got a sequel. Not everything has to be a franchise. I mean, can you imagine a Ladyhawke "Expanded Universe"?

Besides, that is what Gen!Fanfic is for.

I feel like we are really going through a lull in fandom activity, not just in this comm but in general, there are no big fandoms to get enthusiastic about or discuss and the old ones are dying off or their creators have been revealed to either have feet of clay or been really deeply evil people.

I know, we've been here before. But it still sucks anyway.

The next Star Trek movie ought to be an adaptation of Banned From Argos. Convince me I'm wrong. Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds already proved Star Trek should be a comedy franchise. We should do that as a movie now.

Is it wrong that I find Calibos from the original Clash of the Titans movie kind of hot? I feel it should be wrong in some way. I don't want it to be right though, he is hotter that way.

While I’m sad that Brave isn’t more popular, I’m glad that saves it from the live action treatment. It’s perfect the way it is.

If there's ever a Tiana sequel and it doesn't somehow involve a Zombie Dr. Facilier out for revenge, I will be highly disappointed.

Secret because Disney can't even get a Tiana series off the ground.
Hoping for a full length movie is a pipe dream at this point.

I think it is time to admit to myself that I don't actually like the Cozy Fantasy genre.

I guess I just love the Legends & Lattes books. The genre based off those books have all been a disappointment.

The miniseries The Residence was so much fun! And I loved Detective Cupp and Park's relationship.

After finishing the series I went online to look into the fandom and to share in my delight with other fans and found out that so many people absolutely hated Cordelia Cupp and it just bummed me right out.

Another example of 'I guess I'll just enjoy this show on my own.'

I don't know if the writing has gotten worse or if my tastes have changed, but I find kink and sex scenes in fic so boring these days. It has been ages since I've last read a solid Mature or Explicit fic.

I think Fandom has become full of people who enjoy "being in Fandoms" or the idea of Fandom more than enjoying what you're supposedly a Fan of.

People have ideas about tropes they want to see, but instead of engaging with works that do those, they grab characters from popular shows and fic their way into those tropes with these characters, even if they don't fit at all.

And the quality and lack of any real discussions or engagement reflect that.

I sometimes think of secrets to submit, but also sometimes make my own, and I sometimes forget which secrets I've submitted to you and which I'm keeping for myself to make. I'm wondering if I submitted a secret about wishing Bucky wasn't in the Thunderbolts movie? I haven't seen it, but I'm also not here every day so might have just missed it being posted. Or I might not have submitted it at all.

I appreciate all you do!

I have delusions of grandeur when it comes to befriending celebrities.

I don't ever go to see the ones I'm crushing on at cons or signings or anything because I want to stumble upon them naturally where we would end up striking up a conversation and becoming friends. I even try to limit what I know about their personal lives so if (when) we meet it won't be weird or creepy or get in the way of our natural friendship developing.

This is all weird, but I genuinely think that we would become amazing friends if we could just meet organically.

I did not have access to Schleich figurines as a child.

6 year old me would have gone hogwild and spent every penny of allowance on realistic horses, detailed fairies and cool dragons. Thankfully adult me is immune to these beautiful critters!

When I was younger, I used to love Ancient Aliens type of shows, although the actual Ancient Aliens wasn't a thing yet-the genre was still alive and well, but I still understood it was all a load of old tosh.

The secret part? I hate those type of shows now. I never realised that some people actually do take them seriously, and I just can''t watch them knowing that.

Ironically, because when I was a teen I listened to the soundtrack on repeat while I was reading the books, I now associate the music from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves more with the LotR movies than I do with their own soundtrack.

I think the early TNG episode "The Ensigns of Command" has a much better message than the entirety of "Journey's End"/Deep Space Nine's "Maquis". It is just an adult take on the subject instead of the more typically brainless take from the latter episode and show.
