The thing is they never specify! They just say she's aggravating or annoying and that with each scene she grew moreso.

Wow I could not disagree more with those people, getting to see more of her character, as well as her matter of fact bluntness combined with that was great fun. I’m glad I enjoyed this show quietly on my own.

she’s basically the woman version of all those quirky detective dudes, but make it a women and suddenly people “just don’t like it”. funny that.

Exactly my thoughts. People love confident quirky men but you get a woman - and a woman of color too! - and suddenly the character is "too much" and they don't like it.
