If your problem is with people assuming that you are an AI because of your writing style, isn't your problem with those people rather than the AI?

Both? Both. Both is good.

SA

I don't have a problem with the idea of AI. It isn't inherently evil. Stealing is wrong. But there are ways AI could be used that wouldn't involve stealing. We don't need to ban AI, we need to regulate it.

AYRT

SA means "Same Anon", i.e. that you're replying to yourself to add more. You want to use AYRT next time.

Anything generative will use stolen material. The only ethical "AI" is pattern recognition models for science, which do not generate anything. None of it is actual AI.

Or there can be ways for creators to share their work to be used for AI and be paid for it?

(Anonymous) 2025-10-10 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure. That happens so much. Look at all these artists clamoring to be noticed by AI datasets. Look at all this money that AI charges to be able to pay their artists.

/s by the way, if that wasn't obvious.

No it isn't happening right now and I didn't say it was. My point was rather than banning it outright, we could set up laws and regulations and require the AI people to pay creators.
