I'm the same as you, nonny! I have issues with kins and stuff like that, too. It weirds me out A LOT. I also have some line that shall not be crossed regarding RPF shipping.
IDK I think my approach can be summarised as: fiction? ALL GOOD, go crazy. IRL? MMMMH now wait a second...
I'm not saying "don't do that", but I'm saying "I feel really uncomfortable with you blurring the lines of fiction/reality with your kin/self-shipping/etc and/or obsessing this much about IRL people. We shall never interact with each other BYEEEE HAVE FUN"

OP here and yes, you get me. I find kinning and RPF super creepy too for the same reason.

Like you said, stuff that remains entirely within the realm of fiction is 100% fine with me, no matter how weird it may be. It's when you start crossing the line into real life that it makes me incredibly uncomfortable.
