Yeah... people love this nurturing people by treating them like they're a beloved but elderly chihuahua or a helpless child thing these days, but I find it a little infantilizing. Well intentioned, to be sure! But a bit cringe. Like it's possible to care for a person and want the best for them without treating them like you're their mommy.
