The request was just one comment (I think?) but there have been other comments made over time about trying to keep the comment secret threads out of the way. The idea itself wasn't a bad one, IMO. If it turns out that this doesn't work out well for everyone, then we can go back to doing it the old way, but I'll give it a try for a couple more weeks.
