i think it's fine for the same reasons (we don't really know these people, as far as we know they are probably completely different in real life)

but nowadays it gets weird because the line between fandom and these very real people is thinner than ever, and fans sometimes lose the thread as well. something something parasocial relationships. and also actors wanting to get closer to fandom and playing into a little bit gets weird too? it's like feeding into the delusion.
