Shaking my head at all the claims that it’s OK as long as you’re one of the GOOD ones who keeps it contained to all of your closest anonymous friends on the internet, as if that doesn’t fuel and enable the ones who think it’s fine to harass actors and their partners, send unsolicited porn, etc. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen self-righteously claim they would never ask an inappropriate question at a con, for example, only to repost every single video or gif of the response and write fic inspired by it… But it’s OK. Because THEY are not the problem…right??
