Hermione endures her forced marriage to Draco with gritted teeth while pursuing her political ambitions. Draco balances old friendships, dangerous old connections, and frustration at his wife not wielding the power that is her right as Lady Malfoy.
The fic that lead me down the rabbit hole of Draco/Hermione in 2025 after avoiding HP fandom as long as it existed. I like that many characters are morally grey and dangerous (including Neville Longbottom), the dynamic between Draco and Hermione especially when it comes to being Lady Malfoy, and just the way the relationship develops, which is the opposite of what is described in secret 04.
