Don't do this if you think he might get violent. And make sure he doesn't have access to your accounts. You will likely have to get someone else involved depending on laws regarding residences.

Get your plans in order before you say something, in case his mistreatment of you escalates. Hopefully the situation is resolved amicably but it's common for partners to lash out during break ups and for bad behavior to get worse. Be ready to leave in a hurry if worst comes to worst.
