Re: Work questions!

Don't want to name, because I am from a country with one of the highest amount of annual paid days, so it seems like a brag. And "fun" fact, the land of free is the only one country that has 0 mandatory leave days. Next one that kinda sucks is China. And they at least have their New Year holidays.
Also wow your work hours explain all the "you must wake at 4 am to go to the top" videos. Our norm of 9-5 is usually 8/9/10/11 a.m. start. Most usual 9/10 for office workers and 8 for industrial workers.

I love that you start your comment by trying to be 'nice' by not bragging and then go on to insult an entire country XD

There's really no 'norm' in the US for work ours, it more depends on the industry. I have friend that work more regular office jobs that are very 9-5 or 8-4, and then others that work from home and have to match the hours where their office is located. So like I have a friend that lives on the east coast but has to match west coast hours, so they actually start work pretty late into the day and work later.

I am not trying to be nice. And I am going to insult the fuck out of shitty American practices because they fucking suck. And USA being what it is actually tries to set the norm.
And somehow I don't want to be the norm when every company decides if you can have sick leave or not. Or to pay for fucking ambulance. Shocker, I know.

And I am not being rude about hours, this is actually fun. This videos kept fucking me up.

Well, we also have things like that. I know people who work later hours because of time zones

Heck, I used to work for the US branch of an Asian company so my hours started late in the afternoon and ran into the night so that I could be awake and present during Asian business hours.
