Re: Work questions!

Vacation time = 25 days + I get an extra 5 days next year (but only next year) because my company gives employees a special Anniversary Bonus Week on their 5th year anniversaries (5th, 10th, etc); sick time is 80 hours (10 days) but we have to accrue the "Sick Time Hours" every month (we accrue 6.67 hours/month) before we can use it.
The sick time thing is new and they will give us a grace period to "borrow" up to 40 hours of Sick Time by the end of July 2026, but I can see some people spending all their time chasing the sick time hours.
I should also add the reason I have a lot of vacation days is because I've worked at my workplace for a long time. Otherwise I'd only get 10 or 15 days of vacation.

I have a steady work schedule but instead of 9AM-5PM it's the opposite because I work the overnight shift, Monday-Friday
