I'm still refusing to move on from Sims 2 and most things I hear about Sims 4 confirm that this is the correct choice, but I will say that the Ikea furniture expansion pack is one of my favorite Sims 2 expansion packs. The H&M one is much less impressive but I do appreciate some of the things it added as well. Both of them fit well into the general tone/gameplay of Sims 2. Sims 4 just seems to be a big weird mess of mismatched stuff from what I can tell

No lol but that would have been a fun addition to the hobby build stations that came with the Free Time pack

No kidding-- a furniture assembly minigame would have been hilarious, especially if you kept accumulating hex keys from each item...
