One of the only things I was still listening the Nosleep Podcast for was the Goatvalley Campgrounds series. The majority of interest for it went straight out the window after the kiss. Even though it wasn't in a particularly romantic context, the simple fact that ~romance~ is now a plot option, no matter how theoretical, annoys me. I think it may have something to do with my hate for the shitty fae trash romance subgenre booktokers lose their minds over.

I understand. I dislike books in the romance genre, they're just not my thing. And I've tried to read several of the popular BookTok series, and thought they were garbage. (Sorry, just my subjective opinion.) I have gotten to the point that I cannot stand cheesy romance. The slightest hint of cheese and I'm fuckin' DONE.

I have found two different bloggers with "forcefem" in their names who dislike when feminization porn involves force.

This is interesting and it’s not a subgenre I know much about.

In more general non-consent porn/fantasies, I know there’s a lot of space short of “enthusiastic consent” where audiences seem to enjoy some aspect of “force”, but that can mean a lot of things to different people.

Yeah, I'll say it, I'm an adult woman who mostly like media made for kids, like cartoons to sell toys and YA novels. I'm breaking many barriers, I'm sure…

My actual secret is: How many times do we need to hear:
"This media made for kids is surprisingly dark and deep, and violent!!"
Before we realize that, yeah, that's not weird or unexpected... kids like digestible violence, kids can think, children media always had these topics.

Can we stop parroting this to justify ourselves now?

I like the Xianxia, immortality and rebirth subgenres in CN webnovels for several reasons but one of the main ones is that I'm really fucking scared of death so reading about immortal characters is really soothing to me.

The Sims has had collabs with various brands before, but this feels like the worst one yet, to me personally. Very tacky and ugly, and not in a way that I find fun or appealing. It's also only available for a limited time to encourage FOMO and people to buy it before it's gone. I don't like seeing strong, obvious references to real-life brands and products in the game. It's my escape from real life.
