Like... I get it, he has a white voice actor, and it makes sense to make him a redhead, which most people associate with whiteness (even though it's entirely possible to be a redhead of any race, it's even rarer in some than others but it's not like there's a group of people that can't have that genetic combination), but like... his story does feel really racialized! 'Because of the parents I was born to/innate things about me from birth, I was treated with distrust, jokes were made about the type of person I am, and I was gradually shut out of more and more avenues to respectability' isn't really a white guy's narrative.
