In the same way as I'm different from when I write a message to someone I know and when I speak to a stranger. It's always me, but I change the way I come across, especially when I write because I can think slowly and articulate myself better.
But no, I don't have a "persona". I do actively try to be more positive online because I'm prone to depression IRL and don't like spreading my "black goo" to strangers if I can help it.
I think I come across as more "bubbly" online compared to my IRL calm and intense introverted ass.
