I’m all for unquestioned bed sharing between family. It IS normal and I like seeing that realism in media. Malcolm in the Middle was mentioned here recently for this very reason.

But I honestly don’t know anyone who can stand being physically close to another person when sleeping. It’s why king sized beds exist. It’s also why more couples every year sleep in separate beds.
