That isn't really how estate laws work. At best he can make sure his publishers have no automatic right to appoint someone, via contracts, but beyond that it depends on the wishes of whoever his heirs are. He can ask them to agree with whatever he wants, upfront, but as soon as the last breath clears his lips then his heirs inherit and they can do with it as they please.
