Wow, I'm really surprised by the pushback here because no matter how you like your episodes spaced, the consumer is on a net loss trajectory unless they happen to subscribe to THE one big service with all THE viral shows.

Dumping a season all at once has its drawbacks. For viewing, fandom, and profit margins.

Intentionally spacing episodes to maximize monthly revenue is OK I guess if it's one viral show on one streaming service and not stretched longer than 3 months.

Doing either of the above for a fee AND incorporating advertising is unforgivable IMO.
