Sometimes there are downsides of small fandom. I'm currently in one and, well, technically my pairing has the most fics (because it's canon), but also, I've read and reread the same 20 something fics several times. For that matter, I am contributing roughly like 80% of the fanart (well, of one of its character), so it can be hard to find new stuff.

The benefit of a smaller fandom is that I found some nice friends there and there's something nice keeping discussion of it to only a few group of people without the overwhelming navigating through a much larger one.
