Yeah, I can see that. IMO, when it's gotten to the point where they ascribing credit to a deity for something that's an accident, the result of hard work, luck, whatever... that belief is going to bleed through someplace else and I won't like that.

I'd feel the same way about a creator who casually mentions they use essential oils or homeopathy instead of medicine and doctors, or who credits herbal supplements for their aunt beating cancer or something. It's a level of nuttiness that's not going to be contained to just that one area.

+1, I had someone tell me that since I had survived cancer I must now believe in God and she was deeply shocked when I said that I never even thought about it until she mentioned it. I think she thought of atheists as vindictively rebelling against god, not just a plain old lack of belief or even interest in believing.
