Yeah, it’s weird how some people get so pressed about the features of other people’s fantasies, especially such common ones.

I get wanting a certain level of half-reality – sometimes your suspension of disbelief gets stretched too far or something feeling a little more real is just much more satisfying. I even get that there can be some uncomfortable friction when your line isn’t where the local norm is. But deciding that people who draw the line somewhere else are wrong (or wrong-via-being-virgins?) is not the answer.

I think this only gets more contentious when it’s about love and romantic relationships and not just the physicality of sex.
