As someone who enjoys age play (kink) and age regression (not kink) fics, age regression CAN be a kink but not always. So of course it wouldn't always be tagged. Unless I'm misreading and you mean something else.

tbf, even if it's not sexual for them, it should still be tagged. Tagging isn't only to avoid the sexual part, people may have it as a Squick for other reasons.

Tag what? If it is age regression is should be tagged. But age regression isn't a kink.

It can be a squick (or something that people like and search the tags for, though, even if it's not a kink, so I would tag for it.

I personally don't enjoy childish references in any form in fic, like babyfic or age regression or people calling their partner daddy or any of that.

Unless it's in the source material of course. If that's the case, people aren't surprised by it, like cannibalism in a Hannibal fic.
