I'm not sure how to phrase this the right way, but this kind of brings up the question of How the Messaging is Going, right? If it's easier to get lighthearted and positive media from the conservative side of the spectrum, then that spells trouble for the liberal side of the political spectrum.

I think the problem is that too many writers think “adventure” has to mean “killing loads of dudes.” Lighthearted mass slaughter is more of a conservative thing. (Leftists are more into angrily killing loads of dudes, e.g. angrily killing Nazis.)
