I can't work because of a disability and I know it's frightening. I wish I could help you.

You're probably on SSDI which means you've worked before. I haven't worked at all and I'm old and there's no more welfare money and I will probably be homeless and forced to live in the dangerous housing projects and my family won't help me. They told me to try getting SSI for support.

I was on both SSDI and SSI because I failed at every job I had before I was diagnosed. I'm sorry your family isn't helpful. that's terrible. they're your family, they should help you.

They have families and children and one of them has no room for me and is dealing with a reoccurring rare cancer.

So then what are you on now if not SSDI and SSI?

Yes, they should help me but one of them thinks they should not and the other can't.

One sibling told me to lean hard on Social Services and make a plan. The other sibling has an extra empty room but won't take me in. I'm probably going to end up dead and I've been contemplating suicide.

How awful. Your family should be more supportive. Please don't kill yourself. do you have any friends who could take you in?

I'm on the damn autism spectrum. In my case that means I can hold down a conversation and don't scream and rock like those little boys on TV but I can't keep a job of any kind.

Apparently you and the social worker I see for thirty minutes every 2 weeks are the only ones worried about me.

please see if the social worker can help you. I wish I could do something.

They're trying to get me to apply for jobs with this program and they are trying to get me to apply for SSI but I know I won't get it. They also connected me with something called HealthHomes which may help with housing in the future, but the housing may be with a mentally ill roommate I don't know in a housing project that is dangerous.

I failed at every job I ever tried but this isn't about me, I'm concerned about you.

But you don't even know me.

I care about a lot of people I don't know. I just wish I could do something.
