Depends on the question.

For taxes, irs.gov, since they make the laws, still it can be hard if you don't know exactly what you're looking for.

Minor medical stuff, generally Mayo Clinic.

General info about things (celebs, movies, tv shows, geography, demographics, etc.), Wikipedia

Very specific fandom data, I try to find a wiki for that fandom.

Historical figures, Encyclopedia Brittanica

Distances, Google maps

Some old fandom kerfuffle or something, fanlore.org

Pictures and roles for actors, IMDb

Science, math, research studies, I often look on .edu sites
