It's funny because I feel like a lot of canons themselves are actually way more progressive in the sense of having feminine trans girls and masculine trans guys. Like, Tyler from Tell Me Why is a canon trans guy with a mustache and goatee who wants to become a park ranger because he loves the outdoors. Mizuki from Project Sekai is a girly trans girl who loves fashion and the color pink and is almost always wearing a skirt or a dress.

So why don't we ever see trans headcanons like those? It really kind of makes one think.
