I was sitting on the genx subreddit when this news hit, it was a bigger smash than Chuck Norris.

Dude was only 3 years older than I am. It's kind of sad that he definitely had issues but also had some underlying health problem with his heart, and that sucks. I hope he at least talked to some friends and had some happy days before today.

I was sad to hear this, but it was natural causes which is better than what I've heard of most of lately. Still far too young.

Because he beleived the opposite of what they believe and to them, that means he's wrong. So that means he didn't have a soul and should never have been on planet Earth in the first place!

Once "political" views deny the humanity of other people, they're no longer political views. We can disagree on road taxes vs tolls and I won't judge a person's worth, because those are political views. What Norris had was not that.

It's a little telling that someone going "I don't care much about this particular individual" immediately means to anon that you are judging his worth as a human. All that tells me is anon thinks everyone they don't care about is a less worthy human. Oof

Yeah. I used to enjoy the jokes some 20 years back but when I learned he was a Trumper, that was it for me. Also, for some reason I thought he was in his 70s.

I'm indifferent to the news because he was very old and I wasn't a fan, but this is kind of a dumb thing to immediately bring up when someone dies. This has been common knowledge for decades.

He was great about those jokes! He was in an Expendables movie where he made one and it was honestly the only thing I remember about those movies.

His family won’t say his cause of death so being the extremely morbid person I am, I’ve convinced myself he fell in the shower or going down the stairs or some other really mundane, “I can’t believe THAT’S what killed Chuck Norris!” way.

I haven't verified but I saw somewhere that today is also Mr. Rogers' birthday, therefore the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny has fulfilled the promise that Mr. Rogers would take down Chuck Norris.

If so, I'm down for that.
