This is so petty, but "Don't like the weather, hur hur, wait 5 minutes"

This is petty and you guys may tell me I'm stupid, and that's fine and I don't disagree. I don't know why this gets under my skin, but I'm tired of people making comments like "Oh only in XYZ area does the weather change so dramatically in just a few days"

I mean. I actually think in MOST places that have both hot and cold weather, it's not at all unusual for the weather to be cold one day and warm the next. A few days ago we broke a record low in my area, then yesterday we broke a record high. Big deal. It's spring. It happens.

But there's always someone acting like their area is unique because of that and it's like no. That happens in a lot of places. It's NOT a phenomenon that's unique to the American midwest, or New England, or Arkansas, or wherever. I'm sure that it DOESN'T happen in some places, but it DOES happen in plenty.

Hmmm, I've always thought it was about places with hourly changes. Like especially seaside, or mountain places get weather change extremely fast.
