When my friend got pregnant, she was constantly being cornered by women who wanted to tell her about their pregnancy/childbirth nightmare scenarios and all the things that went wrong. Which is great for a first time expectant mother to hear, of course. I don't know wtf was wrong with those women, but it felt like some weird form of bragging.
