That's part of the smear campaign. Get people to grow tired of hearing about her so it's part of the negative energy surrounding her. Not to say I expect anyone to defend Chappelle Roan or to become interested in her. Just, it sucks that there have been concentrated smear campaigns against Chappelle and it works. I honestly feel she is targeted because she is a lesbian, and a celebrity who doesn't always get in line now that she's part of the "rich and famous" class.

I guarantee a not-insignificant portion of the hate she gets comes from her being a woman the wrong way--boldly opinionated; hostile to her own objectification; lesbian. Even if some of her haters wouldn't describe it that way, subconsciously, we're all trained to see women like her as aberrant (or "annoying")—especially if they have the "privilege" of being famous and not adequately performing gratitude for it. Certainly no one gets on male celebrities for being insufficiently grateful for public intrusions into their personal lives.
