I'm tired of hearing about Chappell Roan.

I think Midwest Princess is a phenomenal pop album, but yeah, I'm a little bit sick of hearing about her (at least for reasons other than her music). I don't really think it's her fault that I keep hearing abou her, though—and I say that as someone who actually does find her slightly abrasive at times. Even in cases where she said something that resulted in controversy, it's not her fault that the media took what she said and made a mountain out of a molehill because they knew it would get clicks.

The latest episode of Survivor finally had an actual celebrity appearance, from Zach Brown, a country singer. It wasn't *quite* as bad as I was fearing and they did integrate it into the episode well, but at the same time, I'm watching Survivor to watch normal(ish) people fight through this social/mental/physical game. I'm not watching it to see celebrities. It ate up a lot of time they could have used more on the contestants.

Plus, I know that a Mr. Beast cameo is coming at some point, and I am DREADING that. It may finally make the show truly jump the shark.

When people refuse to admit a dated thing is dated, I stop trusting their taste. By dated, I'm talking about media that's like 20+ years old, here. 1990s and 2000s stuff.

I understand that at some point, these things were bold for their time. Or unique for their time. Or progressive in various ways, for their time. And it's good to give credit for that.

But when people refuse to acknowledge they're dated in ANY way... they're either one of those people who haven't actually watched the thing they claim to love in years and/or are willfully in denial, or they're one of those old people that think everything in their teens/20s was peak and have refused to move on. Or both.

Andor Season 1 is entirely skippable. It is dull, dragging, and boring. Andor Season 2 fucking rocks though. It is like two completely different shows!
