Action movies are also so far removed from reality it can get comical at times and yet for the most part people will just readily accept it as part of the genre. Which they should imo.

But romance media gets this bizarre criticism of ‘not being realistic’ as if they were trying to be in the first place. Like what part of a pair falling in love over a few days is meant to be realistic?? Come on now.
