Your Dream Physical Media

If you collect or starting to collect physical media - what are the ones you really want but can't obtain it for whatever reason (Such as: hasn't been released yet, out of print, out of price range, etc).

Still keeping my eyes out for older anime series on DVD since distributors in my country seem hellbent on getting everyone to buy their over-priced blu-rays. Two in particular are Magic Knight Rayearth and Revolutionary Girl Utena.
I did hear the Monster was getting a re-release this year so I'm looking forward to that too.

DVDs were great for the extra content. I'd love to have a full Doctor Who collection, though way, way out of my price range.

Honestly, I'm lucky that I mostly have what I want on CD or DVD, but there are a few 80s cartoons and sitcoms that were never released on physical media that would be worth getting if they ever released it, even if I only watch it once. I've been able to find a few things on youtube just to watch and be done with it but there's a lot that have never been streaming anywhere and no one ripped and uploaded.

Sansa/Margaery, Sansa/Brienne, Sansa/Daenerys. Sansa deserves pretty women who are nice to her (I'm ignoring how horribly they fumbled Sansa and Daenerys is S8).

I actually have a lot of femslash ships. Most recent one I read a fic for was Leia/Holdo. My favorite is probably Willow/Tara.


Actually, 13/Missy is probably my favorite because I love every single version of Doctor/Master ships.

Also currently pretty obsessed with Lura Thok/Jett Reno from Starfleet Academy.

I really liked Dr. Lauren Lewis and the Morrigan in Lost Girl.

They’re both very pragmatic, but in different ways. Lauren gets a lot of confidence out of it, while the Morrigan gets to be a little vulnerable.

And it’s a movie, so there’s not much fic, but I’ll always love Violet/Corky from Bound. Femme fatale with her butch girlfriend, getting their happy ending together.

I was definitely very into Glinda/Elpheba back in the day, just listening to the OBC, though I haven't fallen back into it since the movies... I shipped the under-loved Mai/Ty Lee and it was hard to find anything of them without Azula.

Most recently, I think it's been Robin/Vickie Stranger Things. I have a soft spot for Robin/Chrissy as well, but I really liked Vickie. (side grumbling about how my girl got her canon romance and a bunch of people called the show homophobic because Mike did in fact remain straight)

I really like Sam/Paulina and Sam/Valerie in Danny Phantom partly because Sam has such a "not Like other girls" mentality and I like seeing/imagining her overcoming it. I also really like Paulina/Star and the idea that Star (Paulina's blonde popular girl friend) is ac closeted lesbian or bi, and I like imagining them being really sweet together

(I also play with the idea that Star being closeted in a religious family and struggling with it or struggling with having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or anxiety and needing to feel control over something in her life, because it gives her a sympathetic reason for coming across as a "control freak" as she was portrayed in the only episode we really saw her. Mainly because it's my experience that male writers/showrunners (especially a religious fundie guy like Butch Hartman) will often portray a woman being "naggy" or 'harsh" or "mean" in a flat/unsympathetic light and there's a certain satisfaction I get from digging into that and showing another side.)

Also I like the idea of Valerie having been Danielle's first crush in D-Stabilized when they met an that explaining why she was so willing to trust after Kindred Spirits, and perhaps (BUT ONLY ) exploring that interest when they're BOTH a lot older. Even if not just that nugget of Danielle growing to be bi or lesbian just kinda appeals.

My first femslash ship I was into was Fang/Vanille from ff13(?). I can't remember which game I just knew that I played it and loved them, and the sequel where they're even more gay.

But I also love Ivy/Harley, Clarke/Lexa, Catra/Adora, Glinda/Elpheba.

I have very few femslash ships, but my favorite has to be Ripley/Call from Alien 4. The sexual tension was off the charts. Most recent that I read/watched stuff for is Revolutionary Girl Utena (Utena/Anthy). One of my favorite fanvids that I watch semi-regularly is Utena/Anthy.

I admit, I've never had a femslash ship. With that said, I remember watching Jessica Jones and thinking that Jessica/Trish would make for a really compelling ship. They love each other deeply but there's also a lot of baggage between them. They became psuedo-sisters at a really formative and horrible time in both their lives. Plus Jessica seems to be the only one who was privy to exactly how fucked up Trish's mom's parenting really was, and how heavily Trish was shaped by it. (Can you tell I like my ships messed up and angsty?)

I made some orzo soup from a mix and tossed in some shredded chicken. It was really good but we’re both still hungry.

It's pretty warm here, so we're having what we call peasant dinner: rotisserie chicken, french bread, cheese slices, and whatever veggies we can scrounge up.

I dreamt my brother found a Death Note and I said "okay we can test it ONCE on Donald Trump but then we're burning it." It turned out burning it was a bad idea because the ashes got all over the backyard and now you could kill people by writing their names in the dirt. I haven't even seen Death Note wtf brain.
