Your Dream Physical Media

If you collect or starting to collect physical media - what are the ones you really want but can't obtain it for whatever reason (Such as: hasn't been released yet, out of print, out of price range, etc).

Still keeping my eyes out for older anime series on DVD since distributors in my country seem hellbent on getting everyone to buy their over-priced blu-rays. Two in particular are Magic Knight Rayearth and Revolutionary Girl Utena.
I did hear the Monster was getting a re-release this year so I'm looking forward to that too.

DVDs were great for the extra content. I'd love to have a full Doctor Who collection, though way, way out of my price range.

Honestly, I'm lucky that I mostly have what I want on CD or DVD, but there are a few 80s cartoons and sitcoms that were never released on physical media that would be worth getting if they ever released it, even if I only watch it once. I've been able to find a few things on youtube just to watch and be done with it but there's a lot that have never been streaming anywhere and no one ripped and uploaded.

I feel this. There are some shows I remember watching as a kid that I would love to be able to see again, only they never got an official release either on physical media or on a streaming service so all I can do is hope that someone will upload a rip someday.

Exactly! It's one thing to know it had a VHS at least, maybe dvd, and I just can't find a copy, but it's quite another to find out it was never released on physical media at all. For a long time Jem & the Holograms was never available, I think it took the shitty forgettable live action movie to finally get the cartoon released. I still can't find Night Court, the Canadian Black Stallion series (as shown on Family Channel), or some of the short-lived Saturday morning Hanna Barbara cartoons unless they're on someone's janky youtube rip. I feel bad for Bob Ross' estate losing the rights to his content but the upside is I can watch Joy of Painting anytime anywhere now.

Daft Punk anime movie Interstella 5555. Ebay prices start at 200 ($,€,£)

Dogma on blu-ray. Harvey Weinstein owns the rights so it never got a hd release...
