I just think it's cool that these two old pals from Boston have kept their friendship alive through all the bullshit that comes along with Hollywood and fame. I like to think it's something about the city itself, how it can make you form bonds (the people I know who grew up there in the '80s have among the most ride or die relationships I've ever seen), but there are certainly plenty of other places like it. Regardless, not everyone gets to keep the same best friend through four decades of ups and downs.

Yeah, even if I find RPF shipping of living people a bit uncomfortable, I have an appreciation for what seems like a really nice long-lived friendship.
