It kind of depends. Sometimes fandom is one of the few things helping me get through a difficult/stressful time. Other times, life demands me away, and it's not always a bad thing or a good thing.

As I get older, I do find fandom being important to me less of a thing. Now it's another hobby I have that I can't get to as much as I sometimes wish.
