The best response I ever saw on a Discord server where one participant claimed to have DID was the mod saying, "That's fine, but everyone posting on the server needs to follow the server rules. If your alters cannot do that, they can't participate." And when they broke the server rules they were banned for 24 hours and came back only to flounce off and never come back.

Yep, basically a heavily-abbreviated version of the list of rules I saw in an earlier comment. Very good-faith and reasonable standard.

I imagine that it can be easy for some mods to assume all folks like this are simply pretending to have it to get away with rule-breaking and shitty behavior, which could cause those who really have it but still conduct themselves well to get caught in the crossfire.
