ayrt. I know that, and it's literally in the image. I just don't understand why this mod is getting such a negative reaction.
I read the other replies and I guess it's because the company paid someone to mod their product into the game. That is kinda scummy and goes against SV's message, but... you can always just... not download it. It's non-canon content.

I mean.... reading the secret makes it pretty clear why OP is mad? They're seeing this as yet another desecration of something that was once pure to them by advertisement. I don't understand why everyone else doesn't understand. Aren't you tired of being advertised to every minute of every day?

chlorox paid a fan to make it, so while it's technically fan-made, it was sponsored by a corporation. i find that gross and very off putting for a game that is anti-corporation.

no shit. they're venting about something they find unappealing. chlorox paid a modder to create this shitty mod and the ads for it are plastered all over the place. i see it on reddit over and over. this isn't some little cute project someone came up with and shared for the fun of it. it's ultimately a fucking huge corporation promoting their product.

I hate ads on Reddit. I use FireFox with uBlock Origin and it gets rid of all the ads.

For mobile, on Android, try RedReader. It's free and has no ads. It's very basic and does not have all the functionality of the official app, but it's also much less obnoxious.

For iOS, try Dystopia. Same deal with that - basic, but free and no ads.

To me, it's worth losing some of the fancier features of the official app to not have their garbage ads in my face all the time.
