Though I will repeat what at least one other anon said; that video games are incredibly broad. Though the most well-known examples of video games involve a lot of stress/patience in avoiding getting killed, there are definitely more laid-back cozy type games. Such as Animal Crossing, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Fashion Dreamer, etc. Even visual novels, though I haven't played many of those.
But if you prefer a medium where things are laid out in front of you, like novels or shows, or just hobbies that give you more tangible rewards for your efforts (e.g., embroidery, miniatures, cosmetics) I get that too.
