I hate when people wank over terms, but it boggles me when people call a story about two American schoolboys holding hands and sharing meaningful glances "yaoi".

Actually, I agree with grayout as well. I think the secret maker was going after the terms-wank, especially since not all people interpret yaoi as being seme/uke or slash as being equal (some of us, like me, prefer the terms to describe country of canon origin: Japanese stuff is yaoi, Western is slash, and so on.)
