I don't get why you have SO MUCH HAAATE, but eh, it's not like liking her's mandatory.

Thing is, the fact that she's so underdeveloped makes her a majestic target for theory fanatics.(Pretty much all of the Felt are like this, though, thanks to them all having only a few panels focusing on them until they DIED.) Plus, the Semicanon Felt Adventure on the forums has thrown in a need for vengeance and potential transformation trauma for the theory fiends to play with.

121. I get being annoyed at how popular she's gotten with so little development, but how exactly are her violent tendencies an argument against her awesomeness? Yeah, Slick's the main character and she's an antagonist, but morally he's no better than she is. If you don't hate him or Droog or Boxcars for their sadism, why hate her for hers?

Rumer is one of those people who sometimes I think is very pretty, but other times is an unfortunate combination of her parents. Awww. I can see why you wouldn't like her, anon. I mean, she's had a grand total of two appearances, her popularity is sort of unprecedented. I'm a fan of hers, but I think that the thing a lot of people really love is their own personal fanon of what she's like, and we haven't really considered the fact that there is no actual development within the comic. So while I don't directly agree with your opinion of her, I totally understand why you'd feel that way.

105. I would have loved to hear her sing a number, or duet--but I don't think 'Almost There' would work in any context for her.

109. If I knew you anon, I would have gone to see it with you ;A; Don't give up on it! It's a cute, decent film. Not one of Miyazaki's best, but definitely a good work. I would suggest renting it and watching it with some friends. Or heck use it as a bonding experience with family--that's how I saw it first.
