That's so cute. I watch the German dub with my father on Tuesday (when it's on it's currently on summer break) and he's a total House/Cuddy shipper and keeps asking when they'll get together. I watch the American episodes so I felt disappointed all over when he believed the hallucination scenes were real.

I don't know where I stand on this one. The episode left me pretty depressed, but not because I dislike the pairing. House/Cuddy is fine in my book, I just felt it was pretty unbalanced. So the world is horrible and unfair and tragic, but that's okay, cause House is gonna get laid?

I'm so glad I stopped watching House at the end of season 5. This show just keeps getting worse and worse, and I shudder to think about the upcoming mess that is Huddy.

I LOVED it! I can't believe people hate it! I mean, I can, because a lot of people hate the ship, but it was so sweet, and paralleled last year's finale really well (except this time was real, and not horribly depressing) and...aww. Besides, I think it worked that it finally, officially happened now, because they've both grown over the season, Cuddy as a mother and House with his therapy and everything; I thought the fact that he admitted he wished he hadn't been stubborn about keeping his leg was a real turning-point kinda thing. So yay.

The finale was so painfully unrealistic, hamfisted, and shitty that I just can't even. I saw an S1 episode shortly after this aired and was just flabbergasted. And the ~twu wuv~ angle they turned the pairing into over the course of this season in particular was just a mess of retconning bullshit.

Plus Cuddy is a narcissistic bitch and when she was yelling at House in that episode I was just waiting for him to smash her face in with his cane. An out of nowhere tagged on ending scene does very little to change my opinion.

Huh. I am surprised so many people hated it. House and Cuddy getting together was always a possibility, and I thought how they handled it finally happening was one of the best ways possible.

I don't get where people think "true love" saved the day - the whole point of the ep was that House pulled himself out of that hole. I was actually fully expecting him to pop the pills in front of Cuddy, like he's done a million times before, and it was an awesome moment for his character when he finally chose to not continue his pattern of substance abuse. And Cuddy was there, not pushing or haranguing him in any way, but just was there for him. H/C is not my ship (H/W OTP all the way, baby), but I thought they got them together in a way that was strong for both characters.

I hated that scene because It ruined an already unrealistic episode, and I dislike Huddy.

But, TPTB have always stated Huddy would never last, and with that in mind I too thought 'finally', because now we can get that 'will they/won't they' stuff out of the way, have a couple of eps of Huddy, have it blow up in their faces, and MOVE ON.
