It's not disrespectful to write Xtian, it's part of ancient tradition, the letter X long having represented the word Christ.

Yep, I'm aware. And I've heard that fact used plenty of times by people justifying their use of "Xian" in loooong rants about Christianity. The explanation isn't new to me, and you repeating it in as condescending a manner as an anonymous commenter can muster doesn't make it ring any more true.
