(Anonymous) 2010-05-29 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)You don't understand Christianity, or missed the part in where, oh, Eve jump started all of humanity by making a decision of her own free will, and the part that detailed how it was Lucifer's plan was to take away freewill, to make sure everyone got to heaven. Pretty sure that was painted as a bad idea. Lack of freewill is very clearly stated as slavery in bible's texts. Everyone has free will, otherwise there wouldn't be a point to choosing Christianity to begin with. There wouldn't be a point in heaven or hell. It sounds like you're subscribing to some form of hxc Jehovah's Witness predestination. Free will is a part of life, and if God gives life then he gives free will along with it.
Aside from all that, your argument that "team free will" somehow triumphed over God is just canonically incorrect. God was there, at the end, showing approval over their actions and it was heavily hinted that he had a hand in leading them to that point.
