Sounds like the guy was just an oversensitive douche. Furry fandom is all about liking anthropomorphized animal-people, why is it at all wrong to assume they'd be waiting for Thundercats? I mean, I can understand someone getting upset if you had said something like that in response to, I dunno, the news that sex with animals had recently become illegal or something, but to say that furries will be disappointed that a movie's not coming out is not so bad. Because whether or not that shit wanted to see it, I bet a disproportionate number of furries were excited for it.

Augh. I wish more people would check the Not secrets because I feel like there's more than just me who agrees with you.

I don't mind when he's portrayed sweetly (IMO it WORKS in a fic like "any lawful impediment"), but I do feel like he's becoming a caricature and not a character anymore (oh god, what am I saying? This is RPF! But you know what I mean). I don't necessarily write him as bitchy and diva-like, but I definitely try not to write him as overly sweet, not even when I'm writing fluff (lol).

I totally supported that prompt on the KM that wanted a well-rounded, multi-faceted Stéphane. I would write one, but 1) I have no inspiration, and 2) I really need to read other stories as my model for characterization to be able to write. (i.e.: I'm writing Patrick right now and it's *so hard* because there's so little srs fic with him in it.)
