You're incredibly passive-aggressive when you spam the community with your very plastic, uncanny valley barbie-doll artwork. Whatever talent you have you devote solely to your fetish of lesbian relationships. As one, I'm a little more than creeped out. At first I'd happily say, 'Hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.' But you carpet bomb us with it constantly while thriving on asspats from members who seem to have conveniently forgotten you threw an epic hissy fit and stormed off when no one wanted to play in the same sandbox as you and getting tired of you parading your kink around.

Thousands and thousands of girls post M/M fanart/fanfic around and it's just dandy, NEVER a fetish. But god forbid a male have an interest in female slash! As a bi female fan of the game, I enjoy MD's stuff because it appeals to me as much as it does him. That's the fun thing about the internet, you can like something someone does and share it with them, or you can dislike it but still probably find something you like to enjoy with others.

Hey, I can kind of feel where you're coming from. I'm not a huge fan of Kaidan. And he's verrrrrry popular in the fandom, and in the community. But that's where you pull up your britches and mosey on to another post. It's what I generally do, and as of yet, my head hasn't exploded.

It's one thing to say you don't care for their interpretation of their characters or their pairings. Or even have your disagreement with the author/artist in question, not everybody gets along, shit happens. But if you're going to moan about it being over exposed, maybe you should put some some more of YOUR stuff instead so that the posts aren't so close together.

Wrong. You might have a valid point here if you were correct, but you aren't, because both

metaraymek and

md_kiryu spam their stuff all over Shore Leave Friday posts (yes, obviously other people post their art there too, in fact the entire thing has pretty much turned into one big attention whoring-fest, but no one else spams anywhere near as constantly as Meta and MDK), and they also sometimes spam it in completely non-related posts. Just the other day I recall

md_kiryu using a Bioware gender!fail discussion post as a platform to post some "non-sexy" armored female Shepard drawing all over the place. I don't know about you, but when I'm trying to read a serious discussion it's pretty damn irritating to have some dude basically going, "Look at my art! Look at my art! It has nothing to do with anything but I'm spamming it anyway! Didja look yet? Didja didja didja?!"

You do realize that the entire point OF SLF is to pretty much spam the thread with fanart and other fan creations, yes?

Clearly everyone goes to SLF for different things. I'm not against people posting fanart there in moderation, but I'm alot more interested in fun discussions and humorous YouTube videos and the like. You're doing the exact same thing you're ranting against. This a community for venting. If someone has the right to repeatedly post X/Y porns, someone else should also have the right to dislike it out loud--especially if it's in a space reserved for that purpose.

If anything, you should be concerned with how ishoshopy's comment verges on being a personal attack. While "I don't like the way you fetishize this pairing" is a valid concern, "you're an attention whoring pervert" really isn't.

IA so hard. Fandom in general seems to have an ongoing problem with hypocrisy.

I also agree on the other points, my general rule (at least where fandom is concerned) is that if I don't care for/like a pairing/character/whatever I just skip past it. It's not something that really should need to be wanked over.

I kind of think you're missing the point of a community called fandomsecrets.

When you say things like, "Is everybody sick of Freya yet?" (and don't try to pretend that you don't say such things, because I know you have), doesn't it ever occur to you that people might actually be sitting there thinking "YES!"

I don't blame you for being fond of your Shepard. Most people are fond of their Shepards. But people also get tired of seeing the same thing over and over, especially when the person posting the same thing over and over accompanies it with obviously insincere "everybody sick of this yet?" comments.

You can't be an attention whore and then whine when people are annoyed that they can't get away from you without leaving the comm altogether.
