as the author of that comment i'd like to say that i actually do avoid tired old gender tropes in my work, and Eames being a bottom has little to do with his personality and more to do with the way i perceive his sexual preferences. he just seems like a guy who wants to come undone in the bedroom, whereas Arthur likes to be in control. however, like i said, they do switch. (and i realize that there are many facets to that dynamic - power bottoms, etc - and that the top is not always unequivocally in charge).

I never saw the game design— and quite frankly, after this thread, I don't want to— that's exactly the same vibe I got as a child.

Although when I first saw her in the art style of the show, I thought she was twelve because of her tiny body and great big round eyes and child-like facial features. ^^;

I could tell she was an adult when I saw her animated and heard for voice, but she still struck me as innocent and utterly adorable... and psychotic. xD

Take it from someone who also dropped out at 16, OP:

GO BACK.

Whatever made you leave school in the first place, you can resolve it. Talk to guidance counselors if there was something about school you could not handle before, find a like-minded club to join for lunch hours if you don't feel safe at school. (This is assuming your schools work in a similar way to North American ones; if not, well, you get the jist.) Can you homeschool? If you had a lot of trouble in class, have you been assessed for ADHD/LDs? There's always a solution.

I can virtually promise it is a relief to go back and stop feeling stalled/failed in life. And while theatre is probably one of the few industries left that you might be able to work your way up in without a diploma, it will still be better/easier in the long run WITH one.

I should add, does your school have a theatre/drama club? The theatre at my school is basically what go me through to that diploma sane and stable.
