Art is subjective yakkity smackity whatever. As a piece of fanart made to represent a certain character, it falls short. Sure other people have been saying "It's nice art" or "It looks like mexican folk art" but, it's supposed to be fanart. If you can't pick out the character from the representation the artist presents you with, the fanart fails as fanart, regardless of its quality as art in general.

Yes but nowhere in the secret do you say FANart. You say, ART, period. It may fail as fanart but it certainly doesn't fail as art.
