My first smutfic ever was also rape... it was kind of borderline loli, actually, now that I think of it. I wouldn't feel too terrible if I were you. And woman/man rapefic is not OMGHORRIBLE in comparisons to other kinds of rapefic, or anything of the sort - they're all different kinds of rape fantasy, and they're not something to be ashamed of.

Why be disturbed? I doubt you suspect yourself capable of running out and doing something violent to a guy; the very fact you find it reprehensible shows that there's nothing wrong with your moral compass.

I've been into that kind of thing since puberty, and the first few fics I ever wrote featured female-on-male and female+male-on-male rape.

It's not weird - just uncommonly talked about because most rape-fantasies are borne of societal pressures for women to be "innocent", while portraying sex as this big wonderful thing that of course everyone should be having.

I'm not bothered by what you've written, OP. For the record. But I totally understand why you are, and I sympathize greatly. I've felt similarly about a lot of my fantasies.


Also, I don't know if this helps, but the only rape fantasy I've ever had (as a dude) was of getting raped at knife-point by a woman. I don't ever want to role-play that random one-off...but if it was a regular fantasy of mine, and I DID want to RP it, wouldn't it suck if I couldn't find any women who thought that was hot?

Not necessarily saying that you want to play this one out; just saying that rape fantasies are varied, and yours isn't somehow more "sick" from being from one viewpoint than another.

You clearly understand and respect the line between fantasy and reality. Let the guilt go.

Hey, OP, I hear you. I was introduced to these books by a very close family member, and I only really read through them after he died. They were what helped me come to terms with the death.

I'm not sure if you're afraid to see them end or what exactly is keeping you from reading them, but do what you feel is best. I have trouble thinking about the coming books/tv series, knowing that the person who introduced me to them won't get to see it. But at the same time, I sort of think that I'll be enjoying it for him, and I think that's what he would want. Do what seems right to you.

Probably TMI, but maybe it would help to watch the TV show. HBO just made the first book into a mini-series and maybe it would help seeing other perspectives on the story.

So this is the thing, about her. She does these comics and then part way through she gets kinda bored with the main characters and the story she's started and gets more into the side characters. So then she short changes the story she spent all that time on and everyone was into, and faffs off and starts over with her new favorites in the central roles.

I wish she'd do short run stories that have a definite end, but whatever. If you are sort of annoyed by this, don't read her comics. If you think it's kind of cool, keep reading them. But she's done this more than once.
